Driven by a creative curiosity and a strong pull to discover the wealth of beauty within our community, this blog chronicles the weekly adventures in eating products grown, harvested or created within twenty miles of home. We’re taking a realist’s approach to the benefits and challenges of sourcing beyond the big box chain, while inspiring connections made within our own community. We’ll track both successful discoveries (finding reasonably priced local eggs!) and the formidable barriers (where will we get our peanut butter from?) that come with this journey.
